Cleveland Magazine and Cleveland Scene are bringing the Best of Cleveland Party back to the Great Lakes Science Center on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, for a night celebrating the people, places and businesses that make Cleveland one of a kind.

Experience the Best of Cleveland all in one place as more than 90 winners, including FunktiniLand, come together for a night filled with local food and drink samples, shopping, entertainment and more. Meet some of the people behind your favorite Cleveland businesses, discover new local favorites and celebrate the very best The Land has to offer.

And when you’re ready to hit the dance floor, Disco Inferno will take the stage for a live performance and DJ E-V will close out the night!

Lakewood Chocolate Walk

Date: Thursday, October 22, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM (VIP pre-walk reception runs 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM)
Location: Downtown Lakewood, Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44017
Activities: Stroll local downtown shops and collect chocolate-themed treats and gifts from participating small businesses. [1, 2, 3, 4]

In-person Sales: Typically late September (first-come, first-served).
Online Sales: Typically early October (VIP tickets only).
VIP Perks: Includes treats, appetizers, beer, and wine at the pre-walk reception.

The Lakewood Holiday Passport runs November 1–December 20

The Lakewood Holiday Passport invites you to explore participating shops, discover unique gifts, find new local favorites, and support the independent businesses that bring our community to life. From thoughtful gifts and festive finds to special treasures you won’t see just anywhere, there’s something wonderful waiting around the neighborhood.

How It Works

1. Pick Up Your Passport
Get your Lakewood Holiday Passport at any of the 25 participating locations beginning November 1st.

2. Shop Lakewood
Visit participating locations and make a purchase to collect a stamp in your passport. It’s the perfect excuse to explore a new shop, revisit an old favorite, and find something special for everyone on your holiday list.

3. Turn In Your Passport
Once you’ve collected your stamps, hand in your passport at any participating location by December 20 to be entered to win. Be sure to include your name and email address.

4. Enter to Win!
Each stamp earns you an entry to win local gift cards! Collect stamps from all 25 passport spots to earn an chance to win a local gift basket filled with goods from participating Lakewood businesses in addition to gift cards.
