Grow in Color: Make a Stained Glass Propagation Suncatcher

Bring together glass, light, and growing things in this playful introduction to stained glass!

In this hands-on class, you’ll create your own stained glass propagation suncatcher—a colorful piece of functional art designed to hold a small plant cutting. Choose from a variety of colorful glass, create your design, and learn the basics of copper foiling and soldering as you bring your suncatcher to life.

Once finished, add water and a favorite plant cutting, then hang your suncatcher in a sunny window and watch it change as your plant grows and the light moves through the glass.

No previous stained glass experience is necessary. Come ready to explore color, learn something new, and make a one-of-a-kind piece to enjoy at home.

Lakewood Chocolate Walk
